Overview in detail
The ThermoFrame is a high-density plastic profile inserted between the steel frame (zarge) and the masonry to eliminate the thermal bridge at this junction. On the LPU 42, it reduces the installed-door U-value from 1.3 to 1.2 W/m²K. On the LPU 67 Thermo, where it is also optional, from 1.0 to 0.91 W/m²K.
Straightforward installation by our technicians during door fitting. Available as an option on all Hörmann sectional doors (LPU 42, LPU 67 Thermo…). Essential for heated attached garages and low-energy construction.
The ThermoFrame is a synthetic profile fitted to the steel frame (zarge). It creates a thermal break between the frame and the masonry and adds extra sealing lips at the sides and top. Available as an option for all Hörmann sectional doors.
