The sliding gate is the ideal solution when there is not enough lateral space for swing leaves or when the ground slopes. The Hörmann LineaMatic range motorises every residential sliding gate, from the compact model to the 10-metre opening. Die-cast zinc and reinforced composite housing, opening speed up to 22 cm/s, BiSecur 128-bit radio, solar version for isolated accesses.
Sliding gates, no-compromise automation
Motorising a sliding gate demands precision: the gate must roll perfectly straight on its rail, without jumping, vibrating or scraping. The Hörmann LineaMatic is designed for this use - compact housing, hardened-steel rack and pinion, soft start, electronic virtual end stops.
Opening up to 22 cm/s
The standard LineaMatic reaches a travel speed of 22 cm/s. In practice, a 5 m gate opens in about 23 seconds. You arrive, press the remote, and the gate is open before you have finished reversing.
Up to 10 m wide and 800 kg
The LineaMatic H is sized for large gates: up to 10,000 mm wide and 800 kg - typical of estate entrances, commercial accesses or horizontal condominiums. Height up to 3 metres. The only Hörmann residential operator capable of such scale.
Resistant die-cast zinc housing
The LineaMatic housing is made of die-cast zinc with a glass-fibre-reinforced plastic cover, height-adjustable to suit the ground and the gate. Weather-, UV- and impact-resistant, it is built to last in residential use.
Soft-start and soft-stop
The adjustable speeds and the Sanft-Start / Sanft-Stopp functions (progressive start and stop) protect the gate mechanics, the rack and the rollers. Particularly useful on large gates where inertia is significant. The result: silence, smoothness, multiplied lifespan.
BiSecur 128-bit radio
Hörmann BiSecur radio with 128-bit encryption at 868 MHz, which Hörmann compares to the security of online banking. Its signal, combining fixed code, rolling code and manufacturer key, is protected against copying. The operator accepts BiSecur remotes, code keypads and fingerprint readers.
5-year manufacturer warranty
Hörmann warrants its LineaMatic operators for 5 years. Fermelux handles after-sales in Luxembourg: breakdown service Monday to Friday (8am-12pm / 1pm-5pm) on +352 691 545 407, fast callout subject to availability; outside these hours, only under a specific maintenance contract, genuine Hörmann spare parts, qualified technicians.
