Cookie management policy
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. The browser's local storage works the same way and follows the same rules.
This policy describes the cookies and trackers used by the portedegarage.lu website, in accordance with the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the recommendations of the Luxembourg CNPD.
Your consent
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept all, reject all or customise your choice by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the website works the same way in both cases.
Until you accept, no audience measurement or advertising cookie is set: Google Tag Manager, which loads these tools, is not even loaded.
Your choice is kept for 6 months, after which the banner is shown again. It is also shown earlier if the list of tools changes.
Necessary cookies
This cookie is essential for the website to work and does not require your consent:
pg_consent - stores your cookie choices. Duration: 6 months.
Audience measurement (with your consent)
Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) - traffic statistics: page views, journeys, requests sent. Statistics are aggregated.
_ga and _ga_<ID> - distinguish visitors and keep the state of the visit. Duration: 13 months.
Advertising (with your consent)
These tools measure how well our ads work (whether a request follows an ad) and let us show you our ads:
pg_attr (browser local storage) - remembers the ad or campaign that brought you to the website, attached to your request if you send one. Duration: 90 days.
Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited) - _gcl_au, _gcl_aw, _gcl_gb. Duration: 90 days.
Meta - Facebook, Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) - _fbp, _fbc. Duration: 90 days.
TikTok (TikTok Technology Limited) - _ttp, ttclid, ttcsid. Duration: 13 months.
When you send a request, and only with this consent, your contact details (email, phone number, first and last name, town) may be shared with these platforms in encrypted (hashed) form to link the request to the ad.
Once you have given your consent, these platforms may also read or set cookies on their own domains (for example doubleclick.net, facebook.com, tiktok.com), governed by their respective policies.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can change your mind at any time with the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw a consent, the cookies concerned are deleted and the page is reloaded.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
Complaint
If you believe that the use of cookies on portedegarage.lu does not respect your rights, you can lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD):
