The V 5030 SEL / V 6030 SEL / V 5025 Z / V 10008 range is Hörmann's benchmark for flexible high-speed doors. Opening up to 3.0 m/s, SoftEdge anti-crash bottom profile and Zipper technology with automatic re-insertion: uninterrupted logistics flow with no downtime after forklift impact, and reduced thermal losses and drafts.
Fast logistics flow and energy efficiency

Opening up to 3.0 m/s
With the standard BK 150 FUE-1 frequency-inverter controller, the V 6030 SEL opens at 2.0 m/s; with the optional AK 500 FUE-1 controller, it reaches 3.0 m/s - 3 to 10 times faster than an industrial sectional door. The door stays closed between passes, drastically reducing drafts and thermal losses.
SoftEdge anti-crash profile
Hörmann innovation: in the event of a forklift collision, the bottom profile exits its side guides and automatically re-inserts on the next opening. No downtime, no parts to replace, no technician call-out - the logistics flow resumes immediately.
V 5025 Z Zipper technology
The V 5025 Z uses a lateral Zipper closure with automatic bilateral re-insertion. In addition to SoftEdge, the entire curtain re-inserts itself into the guides after an impact. Near-zero maintenance, extremely cost-effective on sites with frequent collisions.
Energy efficiency
Thick or insulated PVC curtains (Iso L, Cold versions) reduce heat transfer between zones. Because the door stays closed most of the time thanks to its opening speed, it limits energy losses in heated halls, cold storage warehouses and cleanrooms.
Built for intensive use
Built for intensive logistics use. Hörmann does not publish a cycle life for the V 5030 / V 6030 SEL; on the V 4020 SEL Alu-R, the tubular motor is designed for up to 1.5 million cycles (a design value, not a guarantee).
Varied curtains and colours
Standard PVC curtain, transparent 4 mm (V 6020 TRL), cold-resistant (V 4015 Iso L, V 4020 Cold), insect screen or custom print. Colours RAL 5010, 7016, 1018 standard, RAL 3002 and 9010 preferred, other RAL on request.

Frequency-inverter controllers
Hörmann high-speed flexible doors use only frequency-inverter (FU) controllers - essential to reach 2 to 3 m/s with progressive acceleration and braking. Two controllers are available depending on model and target speed.
BK 150 FUE-1
Standard frequency-inverter controller for flexible high-speed doors. Progressive drive, Soft start / soft stop, light curtain safety grid management. Hörmann's standard controller for the V 5015 SEL, V 5030 SEL and V 6030 SEL (2.0 m/s on the V 6030 SEL).
