Hörmann industrial
sectional door
The SPU F42 / SPU 67 Thermo range is Hörmann's industrial benchmark in Luxembourg. Double-skinned polyurethane-foamed steel panels, up to 10,000 mm wide and 8,000 mm high, up to 50,000 cycles as standard and 200,000 with the optional long-life package. The installed SPU 67 Thermo reaches U = 0.51 W/m²K with ThermoFrame - the best thermal insulation in the Hörmann industrial range.

The benchmark for industrial sectional doors
Luxembourg's logistics halls, warehouses and production sites specify the SPU F42 / SPU 67 Thermo for its robustness, thermal insulation and opening speed - three criteria Hörmann has been pushing to the limit for over 30 years.
Up to 200,000 cycles (option)
Construction engineered for heavy-duty industrial use: up to 50,000 cycles as standard (25,000 with normal or low-headroom track) and up to 200,000 with the optional long-life package (reinforced springs, rollers and hardware). We select the version according to your actual cycles per day.
Insulation U = 0.51 W/m²K (SPU 67)
The SPU 67 Thermo uses thermally broken 67 mm sections and EPDM perimeter seals. With the optional ThermoFrame, the installed door reaches U = 0.51 W/m²K (0.62 without ThermoFrame) - the best insulation in the Hörmann industrial range.
Widths up to 10,000 mm
The SPU 67 Thermo covers openings up to 10 m wide and 8 m high (SPU F42: 8 × 7.5 m). For even wider bays, several doors can be placed side by side with intermediate posts.
Opening at up to 1.0 m/s
Driven by the WA 500 FU with frequency inverter, chain transmission unit and 560 control, the door opens at up to 1.0 m/s (0.3 m/s with the WA 500, 0.19 m/s with the WA 300 S4). Ideal for high-intensity logistics flows where every second counts.
RC2 burglar resistance
Optional RC2 certification to DIN/TS 18194: the door withstands standard break-in attempts (simple tools, 3-minute attack).
5 standard safety features
Anti-lift, finger-trap protection, fall-arrest device, closed lateral guidance, double floor seal - all as standard, all compliant with EN 13241 and EN 12453. No additional safety equipment required to meet the regulations.
Hörmann data sheet
Data taken from the Hörmann Industrial Sectional Doors catalogue (internal reference). Values apply to the installed door with standard hardware, excluding specific options.
Four standard configurations
The SPU range comes in 4 catalogue variants from Hörmann - SPU F42 standard, F42 with integrated wicket door, 67 Thermo high-insulation and 67 Thermo with wicket door. Each variant retains the same safety and drive characteristics.
