Accessibility statement

Fermé-Lux S.à r.l. is committed to making its website accessible to the widest possible audience, in accordance with Article 47 of the Luxembourg law of 28 May 2019 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public and private sector bodies, which transposes Directive (EU) 2016/2102.

This commitment is particularly aimed at people with visual, hearing, motor or cognitive disabilities.

This statement is based on the WCAG 2.1 level AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), an international standard recognised by the European Commission, as well as on the recommendations of the French RGAA 4.1 used as a methodological framework.

The portedegarage.lu website is partially compliant with the WCAG 2.1 level AA standard. Certain non-conformities and exemptions are listed below.

This statement was drawn up on the basis of a self-assessment carried out in April 2026.

To improve the accessibility of our site, we have put in place the following practices:

HTML5 semantic structure: use of appropriate tags (header, nav, main, section, article, footer) to facilitate navigation by screen readers.

Keyboard navigation: all interactive features (menus, forms, buttons) are accessible via tabulation.

Colour contrasts: colour combinations respect the minimum ratio of 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large headings.

Alternative texts: informative images have a descriptive alt attribute; purely decorative images are marked accordingly.

Labelled forms: each form field has an explicit associated label.

Responsive adaptation: the site adapts to all screens (computer, tablet, smartphone) and all zoom levels up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.

Despite our efforts, some content may remain partially or totally inaccessible:

Some Hörmann technical PDFs (catalogues, product sheets) are provided by the manufacturer in their original format and may not fully comply with digital accessibility criteria.

Some product images extracted from catalogues may have generic alternative texts. We are working to enrich them progressively.

Embedded Google Maps remain subject to the accessibility constraints of the third-party provider.

The portedegarage.lu website is developed with the following technologies:

HTML5, CSS3 (Tailwind CSS), JavaScript (React / Next.js 16), ARIA for dynamic components.

Framer Motion for animations, configured to respect the prefers-reduced-motion system preference.

The accessibility of the site has been tested with:

Recent browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge (versions 2024-2026).

Screen readers: NVDA (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS / iOS), TalkBack (Android).

Automated audit tools: axe DevTools, Lighthouse, WAVE.
