The LPU 42 is the flagship of the Hörmann sectional door range. Its 42 mm sandwich panel, made from two galvanised steel sheets with a high-density polyurethane core, delivers an excellent balance of thermal insulation, structural rigidity and elegance. Certified to EN 13241 and CE-marked, it meets the most stringent residential safety requirements. With over 200 RAL colours, Decograin timber-effect finishes and Woodgrain, Sandgrain, Silkgrain and Planar surface textures, the LPU 42 complements any architectural style.
Engineered and manufactured in Steinhagen, Germany, every door undergoes rigorous quality control. The torsion-spring system ensures perfect weight balance and exceptional longevity. The optional RC2 upgrade transforms the LPU 42 into a certified burglar-resistant door to EN 1627.

42 mm steel-PU-steel sandwich panel. U-value of 1.3 W/m2K for the installed door (1.2 with the optional ThermoFrame, panel 0.53) for effective insulation, even in heated annexes.

Mechanical anti-lift protection built into the operator. Optional RC2 burglar-resistant equipment (EN 1627).
Integrated operator
Compatible with ProMatic 4 and SupraMatic E4. BiSecur radio; Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home or KNX via an optional gateway.
Bespoke design
