RAL colour

European standardised colour system covering 213 codified shades, used to paint garage doors.

Definition

The RAL system (Reichsausschuss für Lieferbedingungen) classifies colours as 4-digit codes. For example RAL 9016 = traffic white, RAL 7016 = anthracite grey (the best-seller in Luxembourg), RAL 9005 = jet black. On LPU 42 sectional doors, Hörmann offers 16 preferred colours and around 200 RAL Classic colours of your choice.
