The SupraMatic 4 opens your sectional door at up to 25 cm/s (22 cm/s on the largest door leaves). In practice, a 2.5 m high door opens in about ten seconds: no more waiting in the rain, you drive straight from the road into your garage.
Anti-scanner BiSecur 128-bit radio
Hörmann's BiSecur radio system uses 128-bit encryption at 868 MHz, which Hörmann compares to the security of online banking. Its signal, combining fixed code, rolling code and manufacturer key, is protected against copying, unlike generic fixed-code radios. Your door only opens for paired remotes.
Integrated mechanical burglar protection
The Hörmann anti-lift device mechanically locks the sectional door in the closed position. Combined with BiSecur radio and Hörmann fittings, it makes forced entry practically impossible - a critical point for garages attached to the house.
Bluetooth and Smart Home built-in
The SupraMatic 4 has a built-in Bluetooth receiver as standard: you control your door from the Hörmann BlueSecur app on your smartphone when nearby, with no gateway. Via the HCP interface, it connects to the Hörmann WLAN-Gateway (Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa) or to KNX and Homematic IP gateways; it is also compatible with Hörmann homee.
Silent toothed belt
The Kevlar-reinforced toothed belt is extremely quiet - far quieter than a chain or screw drive. The spring mechanism tensions the belt automatically, for smooth operation and near-zero maintenance over the motor's lifespan.
5-year manufacturer warranty
Hörmann warrants its garage door openers for 5 years - one of the best warranties on the market. Fermelux handles after-sales support in Luxembourg: breakdown service Monday to Friday (8am-12pm / 1pm-5pm) on +352 691 545 407, fast callout subject to availability; outside these hours, only under a specific maintenance contract, genuine Hörmann spare parts.
