How much does a garage door opener cost in Luxembourg?
The price of a Hörmann ProMatic 4 or SupraMatic E4 installed on an existing door (standard sectional or up-and-over) is set in a free quote. It depends on the model, accessories (LED lighting, smartphone module) and accessibility.
What's the difference between ProMatic 4 and SupraMatic E4?
ProMatic 4: standard operator, 650 N of force (800 N peak), up to 20 cm/s, for doors up to 13.75 m², optional Bluetooth. SupraMatic E4: same force (650 N, 800 N peak) but faster opening (up to 25 cm/s), 20 LEDs, built-in Bluetooth and stainless-steel cover. For very large doors or intensive use, we recommend the SupraMatic P4 (750 N, 50 cycles/day) or H4.
Can an existing garage door be motorised?
Yes in most cases - provided the door is well balanced (springs OK). Our on-site survey checks this in 15 minutes. If springs or tracks are worn, we propose a partial replacement or complete door + opener replacement.
Is the opener smartphone-connected?
Yes, recent Hörmann operators with an HCP interface accept the WLAN-Gateway (optional, price on request), wired to the operator, which enables smartphone control via Apple Home or the Hörmann cloud: opening, closing, door status. Compatible with Apple Home, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. SupraMatic 4 operators also have built-in Bluetooth for the BlueSecur app.
