Sized for heavy gates
Hörmann industrial sliding gate motors are designed to move heavy gates continuously: up to 2,500 kg with the STA 500 FU (floor-guided gate). Robust gear drive, hardened steel rack, long-life lubrication.
Self-locking gearbox for anti-intrusion
The worm gear is self-locking: in the closed position, the gate cannot be pushed manually. Permanent mechanical anti-intrusion security without additional electric locking.
Soft stop with frequency inverter
The LineaMatic H moves the gate at 15 cm/s; the STA 500 FU, with frequency inverter, adjusts speed on approach to the end stop for a progressive halt without shock.
Force limitation EN 12453
Force limitation complies with EN 12453: if the gate encounters an obstacle during closing, it stops and reverses. Person and vehicle safety guaranteed.
Integrable access control
Hörmann controllers accept all access control devices: RFID readers, intercoms, barrier arms, magnetic loops, LPR cameras. One ecosystem for complete perimeter security.
Standard manual release
In the event of power failure or motor malfunction, the gate is mechanically released by key and can be moved by hand. Access guaranteed under all circumstances.
